Because there are many different forms of vertigo, unfortunately we cannot put everyone at ease beforehand but some important points are that;
- You are fully secured at all times with a 3-point harness with feet on a foot rest.
- You are looking at the horizon and the activities of the Chefs and entertainment. DUS NOT DOWN, this is up to you.
- After more than 150 flights in the Netherlands, experience shows that even our guests with the worst form of vertigo had a top experience and enjoyed Dinner in the Sky to the fullest.
This is perhaps the most frequently asked question and apparently something that is of great concern to people anyway. Before your adventure in the Sky begins, you may urinate to your heart's content and experience has shown that most of your predecessors can hold it for at least an hour. If not, we will go down again especially for you in case of "very high need". Note that this may not be appreciated by the other guests.
Since Dinner in the Sky started over 14 years ago, your safety has been our highest priority. Besides the fact that all platforms are designed according to the EM13814 standard, we are under strict control by various inspection bodies including the authoritative institute TüV. In the platform you are secured with a so-called 3-point belt. Also, before each event, both the platform and the crane are inspected before the DITS event can start at all. Certified safety personnel are on board during each flight.
Dinner in the Sky is for all enthusiasts who want a unique high-level experience. But you can book this experience for business as well as private.
During your booked package, everything is included from the reception to the drinks after landing. This obviously does not apply to so-called Bottle Service or specials.
That would be great but unfortunately is not so. We can be found from April through October at various locations in the Netherlands. Since we always work with local hospitality or event partners, it is therefore a matter of keeping an eye on our event page or those of our partners.
- Of rain we are fortunately hardly bothered. All platforms are equipped with a transparent canopy so you can enjoy your DITS flight practically dry on rainy days.
- Until the Netherlands is officially a tropical country, we equip our platforms with heaters. Should it be chilly in the evening, you can still enjoy your flight.
- Wind can play a significant role in whether or not a DITS event takes place. It is mainly for your safety that above wind force 6 or 7 we decide to move the event to another date or cancel it. So far we have not had to use this drastic measure but we would like to draw your attention to the possibility.
